Terms & Conditions

1. Made-to-order goods

All buildings are made to your specification. As bespoke goods made to the customer's specification, they are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are the final price. Equine Builds is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

3. Deposit

A deposit (currently 30% of the order total) is payable when you order. The deposit is non-refundable once production has started.

4. Balance payment authorisation

By placing an order you authorise Equine Builds to store your card securely with our payment provider and to charge the remaining balance automatically: for delivery orders, 3 days before your delivery date; for collection orders, when your order is ready for collection. If the charge fails we will send you a secure link to pay. Buildings will not be released until paid in full.

5. Delivery and collection

Delivery dates are reserved once the deposit is paid. You must ensure suitable access for our delivery vehicle and tell us about any restrictions. Collection orders are usually ready in 5–10 working days.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Preparing a firm, level base (concrete, patio slabs or compacted gravel) in an area free from flooding before delivery or assembly. The building does not include a floor.
  • Site access, including lorry access and the route from the road to the base.
  • Checking and obtaining any planning permission or consents with your local council.

7. Guarantee

Buildings carry a 15-year structural guarantee, provided the timber is treated with a suitable wood preservative every year and the building sits on a firm, level base (concrete, patio slabs or compacted gravel) with no flooding around the area. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by horses or any other livestock, misuse or poor maintenance. The EPDM rubber roof upgrade carries a 30-year guarantee.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
